Intended Audience
This Understanding Healthcare Law course is an overview of the functions that are generally performed by allied health professionals who have previously completed the respective training. This course is intended to keep allied health professionals aware of the importance of duties often performed in a front-office and back-office/clinic setting as it relates. It is developed for front-line supervisors, workers, and trainees.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand Key Healthcare Regulations – Explain major healthcare laws such as HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and the False Claims Act and their impact on patient care and professional responsibilities.
